Where's the Forest Cell Key?

A lot of people want to know where the Forest Cell Key is in The Legend of Edgar, so here is a screenshot to help you out:

How do you work this out in the first place? Well, after you return the coal to Borgan, he mentions an "incident" that occurred in the mine but that section was sealed up. If you then return to the mine and walk around this area, Edgar will remember what Borgan said and suggest that there must be something of note around here. Also notice the sign just to the right of Edgar in the screenshot: it's pointing to the left.

Tunnelling through only gets you part of the way there, you'll have to figure out the rest yourself...

The Fortress Ground Floor

Walk left until you reach the lava pool. Shoot an arrow into the target and then jump over the vanishing platforms to the other side. Continue left over the falling platforms, dodging the fireballs along the way. Go down the lift and walk left to the next lift. Take this down two floors and then go right and enter the laboratory.

The Laboratory

Go right, save your game and then enter the teleporter. When you get to the other end, walk out right and then hop up onto the above ledge and walk left.

Evil Edgar

The boss initially has three types of attack: he will walk up to you and attempt to hit you with his sword, fire arrows at you, or use the crusher in the room to hurt you. You can block the sword and arrows, but the crusher must be avoided. After he has finished firing the arrows or using the sword, he will retreat back to one of the ledges. When he does this he will sometimes throw a gazer eye at you. Quickly move the eye and destroy it before it opens and stuns you. If you cannot damage it then it you can pick it up and use it against Evil Edgar to stun him and do additional damage. If the eye does stun you then the boss will trap you in a glass cage. When you recover from the stun, select the tuning fork from your inventory and use it to break the glass before the boss attacks you with the crusher.

After you have worn his health down to 50%, he will drop a spanner. Collect this and walk up to the control panels. You can now interact these to bring up a meter which gradually depletes. You can press Action at any time to cancel interacting with the panel and carry on later. The boss will now change his attacks, so he will now fire flaming arrows which you cannot block and he will also throw lots of miniature bombs which you will need to dodge.

Once you have the spanner the boss is nothing more than a distraction, reprogram both the panels and then walk into the chamber on the left. Once the sequence ends you can then walk back to the teleporter and leave the lab.

The Catacombs

Your vision is very limited in this map, but there aren't any monsters to fight so you just need to watch out for holes and other traps.

Walk right, hop up the steps and continue right until you get to the edge. Wait until the platform stops and then ride it over and continue right. Hop over the three gaps and then take the lift down. Go right and keep walking past the falling platforms until you reach the switch. Flick the switch and then walk back left and ride the anti-gravity field up and collect the key.

Return to the lift and take it up two floors. Walk right until you get to the switch. Flick the switch and then jump up onto the falling platform and jump left onto the next two platforms and then hop all the way to the right and through the open door.

Drop down the steps and walk between the fire burners and then hop up and stand at the edge of the slime pool. Throw a water purifier into the slime and then use the ice spray to get across to the other side. Push the box onto the pressure plate and then return back left to the lift.

Take the lift up another floor and walk right into the anti-gravity field. Step out of it when the platform comes into view or you will get killed by the spikes at the top. Walk down the steps and hop up onto the edge of the water. Wait until the spider drops down and then hop to the next platform when it rises back up. Do the same on the next platform and then walk right until you reach the light pillar.

Activate the pillar to light up the map for a short while. Walk right, avoiding the three ceiling snappers until you get to a falling platform. Jump up the falling platforms, alternating left and right until you get to the top. Grab the box and push it off the ledge and drop down after it. Push the box right until you get to the lift, but leave the box on the left hand side. Take the lift up and wait for the spikes to sink back into the ground, before walking right.

Flick the switch and then walk back to the lift. Take the lift down two floors, walk right across the falling platforms, flick the switch and return to the lift. Take the lift up one floor and then grab the box and drag it right through the door and place it on the pressure plate. Walk back left until you reach the falling platform, and then walk left a few paces at a time until you see the slime drips from the snapper. Walk a few more paces and the snapper will drop down, missing you. Do the same for the next two snappers and then activate the light pillar and then continue left to the lift.

Take the lift up and then walk left and drop down. Activate the light pillar and then hop on the moving platform. Jump up onto the ledge and wait for the platform to come back left and drop onto it to get to the other side.

Open the door and then return back right. The light will probably go out before you get back but you should still be able to see the lift move under the ledge. When you get back to the opposite side jump up to the top and go left. Take the lift up and continue left. Drop down and push the box into the anti-gravity field.

When you get to the top, push the box onto the pressure plate and then walk right off the anti-gravity and keep moving right to get out of the room. Go right, take the lift down and continue right across the gap and past the lift. Jump up onto the ledge and wait for the spiders to drop down before continuing across the two gaps. Enter the anti-gravity field and first stand on the right, you will have to move from left to right to avoid the spikes whilst rising.

When you get to the top slowly walk left because are three ceiling snappers here. Deal with them as you did previously and then take the lift up. Walk slowly left until you see the boulders dropping down. Follow one when it does and hop up into the gap when you see it. Allow another boulder to pass and then follow it to the next gap.

Ready the water purifiers and then follow another boulder to the edge, throw in a water purifier and then walk back to the gap. Ready the ice spray and then when another boulder passes you, drop down, go the to edge and create a platform to get across the water. Collect the key on the opposite side and then return back right. There are no more boulders so you don't need to dodge them now. Take the lift down and then continue walking right, avoiding the three snappers again.

Keep going until you reach the switch and flick it when the spikes are in the ground before proceeding right.

Take the lift up and then walk left. Jump up but watch out for the spider which drops down. When you get to the top walk left across the falling platforms but make sure you jump the gap in the middle. Continue left and jump up the falling platforms to get to the top. Walk to the fourth anti-gravity field and ride it up to get the key. Return back right, drop down the falling platforms, walk right across the other falling platforms, taking care to jump in the middle and then drop down the gap whilst avoiding the spider.

Walk right and take the lift down two floors.

Walk right and use the light pillar to help you see the blue scanner. Walk underneath it when its eye is closed. Continue right whilst avoiding the falling rocks until you get to the slime pool. Use a water purifier and then use the ice spray to cross the water. Continue right until you reach the switch and flick it to call the lift down. Take the lift up and then walk left to exit the catacombs.

Fortress Ground Floor

Walk left and drop down. Continue all the way left until you reach the lift. Take the lift up, go right over the two lava pits and go up past the spiders. Take the lift up one floor and then hop up the steps on the right and go through the door to the basement.

Basement

Go left down the steps and take the lift down one floor. Make sure you have at least four gazer eyeballs in your inventory, if not then walk around this area and kill the gazers until you get enough. Go right, take the lift down and walk along the conveyor belts to get to the bottom. Go right up the steps and continue over and down. Take the lift up and then walk left and hop into the teleporter. Go left and take the lift up one floor. Go right and press action when you reach the blending machine.

When the sequence completes, collect the potion and go back to the Fortress Ground Floor.

Fortress Ground Floor

Go left down the steps, take the lift down and walk right to enter the laboratory.

Laboratory

Walk left and enter the teleporter. When you get to the other side, walk right and press action when you get to the cauldron. When the cutscene finishes go back into the teleporter and when you appear on the other side, walk right and leave the laboratory.

Fortress Ground Floor

When the cutscene finishes, walk left and call the lift down. Take the lift up two floors and walk right through the door. Take the lift up, walk right and hop up the falling platforms, dodging the fireballs. Walk right to the edge and shoot the target. You have about 15 seconds to cross over the vanishing platforms and get to the other side. Walk right and use the gazer eye to activate the puzzle blocks.

Headbutt the blocks when they match the one behind the forcefield. When the forcefield vanishes, walk right and save your game, then continue right.

Borer

The boss is quite simple. At the start walk left and stand underneath the platforms. When one of the tentacles shakes it is about to shoot out, so move to a different platform and wait for it to hit the back wall. When it does it will bounce off a pause for a moment allowing you to hit it. When you have destroyed all of the tentacles, the boss will start sucking in the air. Keep walking left and jump onto the top platform when can you can. When the boss stops sucking in air it will start spitting out large and small rocks and a bomb. Jump over the rocks and collect the bomb when the boss stops spitting out the rocks. The boss will then produce some red tentacles. If these hit you they will draw you into its mouth so hit it to break free. The way to defeat the boss is to make it draw the bomb into its mouth instead. Stand on the top platform and ready the bomb. When the top red tentacle begins to shake, drop the bomb and move left so that the tentacle hits the bomb. When the boss eats the bomb it will take some damage and go back to spitting out the rocks and bombs again. Repeat this until the boss dies.

When the boss is defeated, collect the heart and proceed to the catacombs.

The Basement

Walk left and take the lift up. Continue left and take the lift down, go left up and down the steps and jump up to the conveyor belts. Follow the belts around and then go left and take the lift up. Walk left, take the lift up, walk right, hop up the steps and enter the Fortress Ground Floor.

Fortress Ground Floor

Go left down the steps, take the lift down and walk left past the spiders and over the lava pits. Take the lift down and go all the way right.

Jump on the blocks in the order shown above to open the door. Go through the door and enter the Armoury.

Armoury

Take the lift up and move the mirror underneath the light so that it reflects off and hits the target to open the door. Take the lift down and go right. The mouth stalks will attack you if you get too close to them, so block when they open their mouths. Take the platform over the slime pit and go down the steps. Go right until you reach the spears coming out of the ground. Take the lift down and go right, killing the mouth stalks as you go.

Stand near the balloon and throw an Armadillo spike ball to pop the balloon and release the Extend-O-Grab. If you don't have a spike ball in your inventory then you can either kill Armadillos until they drop one or you can use timing and fire an arrow from the lift. Once you have the Extend-O-Grab, return back up the lift. Go right, dodging between the spears. Kill the mouth stalk and then flick the switch and quickly jump across the falling platforms and go through the door. Stand at the edge of the slime pit and use the Extend-O-Grab to collect the water purifiers. Go back through the door, over the falling platforms, past the spears and continue left up the steps. Use the arrow on the target to open the door and continue left. Stand at the slime pit edge and use the water purifiers to turn the slime into water. Now use the ice spray to create a platform to stand on. These platforms only last about 10 seconds so don't stand on them for too long.

Cross to the other side and drop down the steps. Walk between the first and second spears, turn around and shoot and arrow into the target. Now walk through the rest of the spears, hop up the platforms and go through the open door. Drop down left to right, dodging the spike balls as you go. When you get to the bottom go left and up the steps.

Stand on the blocks in the order shown above and collect the key. Go right and flick the switch to open the door. Continue right over the slime pit and down the steps. Take the lift down and go left. Hop up the platforms, go left and drop down. Go left and open the door. Hop up the platforms and stay near the edge. When the spears come up, move as close as possible and wait for them to go back down. Walk left and drop down. Walk right and stand just outside the room with the large flying scanner. Use the invisibility potion and then walk past it.

Continue right down the steps and take the lift up, go right, drop down the steps and climb up the platforms to the mirror. Flick the switch to release the mirror and then push it off the ledge and position it underneath the target. Collect the key and then return back left and take the lift down two floors. Use the purifiers on the slime and then use the ice spray to cross the water. Go left, flick the switch and then return right, take the lift up one floor and return back left past the scanner and take the lift down.

Use your pickaxe on the wall to the right to allow the light to pass through and then go left. Use your pickaxe on the wall on the left and then take the lift up. Walk left, go down the steps and walk through the spears.

Jump across the falling platforms from left to right and collect the rope. Now return back right across the platforms and up the steps. Continue right and take the lift down, go right and go up. Now go left and hop up the platforms. Time walking past the spears like before, drop down and walk right until you reach the two mirrors. Drag the mirror on the right over to the right and position it underneath the target. Move the target on the left underneath the light so that it bounces off the mirror. Go right through the door and use your invisibility potion to hide from the scanner. Flick the switch to call the lift down and drag the catapult onto it. Take the lift up and stand in the catapult's bucket to use the oil can.

Position the catapult roughly as shown above and then press action to catapult yourself onto the higher ledge. Go right, take the lift up and continue right. Jump up the platforms, avoiding the spikes. Go left and jump up the two falling platforms. Shoot the balloons with your arrows but switch back to the shield so that the spikes don't hurt you when they explode. Now jump right across the platforms and wait for the platforms to reset themselves. Flick the switch and then go left. When you get to the final platform, wait for the lift to come down and use your Extend-O-Grab to get the key.

Return back down and then go all the way left and take the lift up. Kill the mouth stalks, jump across the slime pits and jump up the platforms. Go left, avoiding the spears and take the lift down. Wait until the spears are in the ground and then flick the switch. Walk past and stop by the room with the blue scanner.

The blue scanner cannot be avoided using the invisibility potion so wait until it closes its eye and then walk past it. Flick the switch and then return right and up the lift. Go right, hop up the steps and use your pickaxe on the wall. Use your pickaxe to release the mirror and position it so that the light reflects up to the other mirror. Return back left, take the lift down one floor and go all the way right. Jump up the falling platforms and use the platforms to cross the slime pit. Take the lift up, break the wall on the left and then walk right and take the lifts all the way up. Go right and use the action point. Now return back left and down the lifts.

There will now a red grub moving around. Don't kill it but instead stand on the floor above it and until it moves onto the lift. When it does this flick the switch to bring the grub up to the next floor. Repeat this to bring it all the way to the top. Now stand between the treadmill and the centurion and wait for the grub to move onto the treadmill. After a moment it will do its spin attack which will power up the centurion and make it walk through the wall.

Go right, purify the water and cross it using the ice spray. Take the lift down and push the mirror right, avoiding the blue scanner. Place the mirror underneath the target and then return back left and take the lift up. Go right and interact with the crossbow to use the rope. Walk across the rope and push the mirror down the gap. Move the mirror under the light to open the door and proceed right. Jump up the platforms and go right, killing the mouth stalks as you go. Save your game and then go right and collect the shield. After the cutscene return left to battle the boss.

The Awesome Foursome

This boss isn't too difficult. The four of them work in pairs so that only two are on screen at any one time. They have two attacks, the first is appearing on the left or right hand side of the screen and firing a projectile that can be blocked. The second attack is dropping from the ceiling onto you. This attack is the one you should watch out for. Also note that they have separate health bars. The bar at the top is their super meter. Once this reaches the top they will do one of two super moves. The first is dropping from the ceiling repeatedly and the second is using a super projectile attack which must be jumped over.

The trick to defeating the boss is as follows: When one of the pair is defeated their partner will teleport in and begin healing them. While they are healing though they are completely vulnerable to attack, but unless you can kill the healer during the healing process you will be stuck forever, so concentrate on wearing down one team at a time, Green and Red or Yellow and White. If one of the team members has very little health then avoid hurting them and concentrate on the other. When both have very little energy left, defeat one of them and then kill the healer when he drops in.

The battle is a lot easier when there is only one team remaining, but their super attack changes to a row of spears appearing out of the ground and moving from one side of the screen to the other.

When you have defeated the boss, return left, take the lift down. Walk left past the scanner and take the lift up. Go all the way left, down all of the lifts and take the platforms across the slime pit. Jump down the falling platforms, go left, drop down and right past all of the slime pits. Take the lift down and go right and take the lift down again. Go right, drop down and hop over the falling platforms to the left. Walk past the spears and catapult and continue left up the steps and over the slime pit and exit the Armoury.

The Fortress Mine

Walk right and take the lift down. Walk right and jump over the lava pit. Grab the mine cart and pull it onto the large lift and go up. Move the mine cart underneath one of the falling rocks and wait until the mine cart is full.

When the cart is full take it back the lift, go down and move it onto the pressure plate to open the door. Walk right wait until the boulder drops down and then walk after it. Jump up between the gaps and wait for the boulder to pass and then follow it. Continue to do this until you get to the lava pit. Jump over the pit, flick the switch and collect the key.

Return back left to the first large room with the red bats. The grey and red spiders can jump over gaps so be prepared for them to do this. Additionally, the red spiders shoot webbing that will paralyse you for a moment, but it can be blocked. Take the lift down and go right, jumping over the falling platforms. Jump up the steps and save your game.

Equip the pickaxe and drop down the shaft. Go left, jump over the gaps and knock down the wall with your pickaxe. Walk down the slope and knock down the following wall. Change to the sword and kill the 3 spiders. Change back to the pickaxe and drop down the gap. Knock down the wall, switch to the sword and kill the spiders. Change back to the pickaxe, knock down the wall, go down the slope and knock down the following wall. Now go right and jump over the remaining walls. You can relax when you reach the save point.

Go right and jump on the rotating rock containers. Ride it around to the top and jump off to the right. Walk all the way to the right, flick the switch and then return left and jump up the platforms. Walk left, kill the bats and wait on the edge until the rocks drop down. Time your jump across the falling platforms so that you don't get hit by the rocks when going left. Collect a bomb and return right. Jump over the gap and use the bomb on the wall and then go back and collect another bomb. Return to the wall you just blew up, climb up the steps and flick the switch. Return back down the steps, drop down the gap and go back left to the rock containers. Ride it down and jump off to the right, go to the end of the corridor and flick the switch, which will complete the sequence.

Now return back left, jump on the rock containers and ride it across to the left. Walk left down the steps and take the lift up.

Use the bomb on the wall and then flick the switch to stop the crushers. Take the lift down one floor and then go left along the conveyor belt. Push the mine cart onto the lift and then return right. Take the lift down one floor and then go left. Stand at the edge of the lava pit and jump across the geysers when they rise up. Flick the switch to bring the lift and mine cart down. Return back right across the geysers, and hop up the steps. Drop down and jump over the rolling boulders whilst continuing right. Take the lift down and then proceed left across the conveyor belts and rock containers. Now continue left and retrieve the mine cart when it comes down. Pull it over the lift on the right and take the lift down.

Leave the cart on the lift for the moment and use your pickaxe to break through the wall on the left. Now pull the cart over the to the left and place it underneath the grabber. Flick the switch to pick up the mine cart and when it moves over the conveyor belt, flick the switch again to drop it.

Use the switch on the right to control the conveyor belt so that the mine cart is continuously underneath one of the falling rocks. When the cart is full, allow it fall off the conveyor belt and then drag it right to the pressure plate. Walk right and jump over the geysers. Note that you can stand on a geyser when it sinks back down into the lava, so take your time. When you get across, stand on the small cloud and ride it up. Jump on the second one and collect the key. Now return back down, back left across the geysers, up the lift and across to the right over the rock containers and conveyor belt. Go all the way right until you get the grabber. Use your pickaxe on the wall below the rock to knock it down and then position it underneath the grabber. Use the switch to pick up the rock and drop it onto the pressure plate.

Now return back to where you collected the key (left, down, right), except don't jump on the clouds. Go up the slope and flick the switch. This stops the conveyor belt for about 10 seconds, so quickly go right between the crushers. Go down the slope and jump over the gaps whilst avoiding the rocks. Take the lift up one floor and go right. Take the lift up, walk right and hop on the rock container. Ride it around to the top and jump off to the right. Go right, jump up the platforms and go left up the slope. When you jump on one scale it will lower and the other will rise, so move across them quickly.

Take the lift up and then go right. Jump across the conveyor belts, drop down the steps and take the lift down. Grab the mine cart and take it back up the lift and fill it. Return the cart back to the pressure plate to open the door. Go right, jump up the platforms, collect the repellent and return back down the platforms, walk left, take the lift back up and go back left across the conveyor belts. Go back the lift and use your pickaxe to break down the wall on the left to collect the rock. Drag the rock onto the lift and go down two floors. Position the rock underneath the grabber and use the switch to pick up the rock and place it on the pressure plate. Collect the key and take the lift back up one floor.

Jump across the scales, and go back down the platforms. Go left and hop on the rock containers. Ride it down and hop off on the right and collect the oil can. Go back left across the rock containers and take the lift down. Go left past the lift and use the pickaxe to get the rock and place it on the pressure plate as you did on the opposite side of the slime pool. Go back right to the lift, take it down and then go right up the steps.

After the cutscene, drop down and use the repellent. This will create small green clouds that float up and hit the spider. Keep spraying these until the spider starts shaking. When it does this, walk under it and jump up the steps. Use your pickaxe to break through the wall and drop down to the penultimate step. The Red Sludges in this area are quite aggressive and spit up acid which must be jumped over, or you can wait until it vanishes. In addition to this they will sink into the ground and appear underneath you, so stay near the step and take them out one at a time.

When you have defeated them all you should have at least one tentacle. Walk right to the end and collect the key. Now return left and use the repellent on the spider again. Go left back to the lift, take it up and then continue left. When you get to the slime pool, wait until the lift comes down and hop on it. At the top, walk left and flick the switch to call the lift down. When it comes down, take it up to the top and the go all the way left, take the lift up and exit the mine.

The Legend of Edgar Walkthrough - Part 6

The Fortress

Walk left, drop down the ledges and take the lift up. Continue left over the lava pits, jump up the ledges and use the exit to get back to the Basement.

The Basement

Drop down the ledges and walk all the way left, watching out for the ceiling snappers. Jump up the ledges, take the lift up and walk all the way right. Climb up the conveyor belts, go right and take the lift up. Go left and take the lift up to the generators. Use the gems in the generators to complete the objective and activate the lift down by the Sewer entrance.

Retrace your steps back to the Fortress entrance, but instead of jumping up the ledges to the Fortress, take the lift down 1 floor, walk right and take the next lift down. Go across the conveyor belts and keep going right to get to the now working lift. Go along the conveyor belts, avoiding the lasers, kill the Gazer and jump up the conveyor belts and onto the lift. Go left and jump on the conveyor belt. Wait until the spiders are below you and then jump over them.

Continue going left and take the lift up. At this point make sure you have at least 3 arrows in your inventory. If not then retrace your steps to find some more monsters to kill. Take the lift up 1 floor, shoot the target and then go through the door on the right. Shoot the energy drainer with an arrow and when it falls down, switch back to your sword and attack it. When it rises back up, move back to a safe spot and shoot it with another arrow. When it dies a cutscene will trigger.

Go back left, kill the Gazer and take the lift up 1 floor. Go right, avoiding the snappers and kill the next energy drainer in the same manner. The drainer's beams cannot go through the floor, so you're safe hiding underneath them. Return back to the lift and take it up another floor. There are two drainers in this room, so kill them both and them and them jump across the gaps to get to the key on the left. Return back to the lift and go up another floor. Go right, avoiding the snappers and kill the drainer in this area. Continue going right to the lift. Take it down 1 floor if you want to save your game, otherwise take it up 1 floor and go left. Jump across the platforms whilst dodging the spiders.

For an easy kill, try and shoot the drainer whilst it's above a gap so that it falls in the slime. Jump right and flick the switch to activate the lift. Go back left and jump on the lift to get the key. Return right and continue past the lift you took up to this floor. Take the next lift up and kill both drainers in this area. Go back down and continue right. Take the lift down and defeat the drainer in this area. Return back up the lift and go left to the lift that you took up to this floor. Go down 1 floor and walk right. Use your axe to break down the door and wait by the edge of the slime. Wait until the spiders have dropped down and then jump across. Use your axe on the next door and defeat the final energy drainer. Continue across to the opposite side and collect the key before returning back to the lift. Go down two floors and open all three doors and then hop in the teleporter. Walk right past the first lift and take the second lift down. Use the generator to initiate the boss battle.

The Watchdog

As long as you're up on the platforms, the boss cannot see you. You will need to drop down to attack it though. When it walks past you, drop down and start knocking off its armour. It may jump around to face you in which case it will do one of two attacks. The first attack it extending its tongue out, if this hits you then it will drag you towards its mouth. If you're far away enough then you can hit the tongue to make it let go, if it drags you into it's mouth then you'll die instantly. Its second attack is to launch the 3 buzz saws at you. Dodge around them and then get in a few hits before the saws return. Once you have knocked off all the armour, the dog will attempt to charge you. Dodge the attack and when it hits the wall, walk over to it and retrieve the yellow gem from its body. The boss will get back up and regenerate its armour. Ignore it for the moment and place the gem in the generator on the right. This will cause the container to start filling up with red baby slimes. Ignore these for the moment and knock off the bosses armour again. When all the armour has been knocked off, do not allow it to charge you as this will cause the armour to regenerate. Instead, jump up to the switch and flick it to open the container. When all the slimes drop down, flick the switch to close the lid. When the container fills up again, open it to unleash more slimes. Keep doing this and you will see the bosses health start to drop off. Eventually it will die from the damage inflicted by the slimes. Collect the heart container and then go right to enter the Mine.

The Fortress

Exit the laboratory and walk left. Jump over the 3 lava pits whilst dodging the spiders. Continue going left over the other two lava pits and take the lift down. Get on the moving platform and ride it across the lava, continue right until you get to a lift. Take this lift down and go left. Time your jumps so that you can jump across the falling platforms without getting hit by the fireballs. Pick up the key and then wait for the summoner to turn up.

Block it and then follow it back across the lava pits. You can either defeat it or just take the lift back up. Either way, after you've taken the lift back up go left and take the platform back across the lava, go up and then return right past the 3 spiders. Take the lift up one floor and go right past the exit to the Basement. At the lava pool, time getting onto the lift so that the fireballs don't jump up whilst you're on it. Do the same for the next pool. Continue right until you get to the second lift, next to the pressure plate. There should be a Centurion behind you so take the lift up one floor and then send it back down. When the Centurion walks past the lift shaft, drop down and bring the lift back up so that the Centurion is trapped on the pressure plate.

Take the next lift up and jump on the blocks in the order shown above. Take the lift up, collect the key and then take the lifts down to the bottom. Go left and use the switch to activate the lift. Take the lift down one floor and open the door on the right. Jump up the ledges, and go right to enter the Library.

The Library

Go right, drop down the ledges and take the lift up. The whirlwinds cannot be blocked and they will remove your sword and shield if you get sucked in. They take the same amount of damage from all weapons though so you can kill them just as easily with the pickaxe as with the sword. Do not use arrows against them as they will reflect back and hit you instead. Continue walking right past the lift and drop down the steps.

The spirit will throw the books circling it at you, so block them and then hit them when they're on the ground. Once all the books have been destroyed the spirit will die and drop a keycard. Collect this and return back left to the start. Take the lift up 1 floor and go right, use the pillar and repeat the directions prompted on the screen to open the door. Walk right up the steps, save your game and then continue right.

Large Red Book

The book has three attack forms, in it's first form it will drop a stream of fire that will move across the floor. It will do this 5 times and then stop briefly. Once it has taken enough damage it will flee to the right. Use your axe on the door to break it down, but save in between the fights. Don't try running past the book, you have to kill it. The book's next phase is to fire a stream of fire that bounces across the ground. It will drop 3 streams and then teleport to the other side. It will flee once more so knock down the door again. In its final form it will throw fire into the air so make sure you stand between the flames to avoid being hit. Note that you can't stand in just the one spot, make sure you keep moving. When it dies, chop down the door and go right. Take the lift down one floor and collect the tuning fork. Take the lift back up 1 floor and return back left. Keep going left past the main lift and cutscene will trigger. When this ends walk into the anti-gravity and ride it up.

Go left, drop down, hop up the steps and jump over the gap. Drop down and walk up to the glass wall. Use the tuning fork to shatter the glass. Defeat the summoner and collect the Storage key. Return back right to the main lift and take it down one floor. Go right, down the ledges and up the lift. Take the next lift down, walk left and take the other lift down. Go left and open the door using the Storage key. Pull the mobile platform out and drag it all the way to the right. Jump on it and raise it up high enough so you can jump onto the ledge.

Walk between the spike spheres until you get to the action point. Use the action point to read the book. Now return back the lift and take them both back up, go left and leave the library. There is no need to do anything else in here.

The Fortress

Go left and drop down the steps. The centurions attack by slamming their pile drivers into the ground, which will stun you if you don't jump. Even though they don't walk very fast, you cannot block them, so make sure you can escape when they get too close. Take the lift up one floor, walk slightly left and then jump up and walk to the action point on your right, just below all the fireballs. Use the action point to trigger a new objective. Now go back to the lift and take it down two floors. Walk right and press action on the gazer eyeball slot to insert the gazer eye.

Make a note of the number shown on the die behind the shield. Now headbutt the other three dice when their number matches the one behind the shield (in the screenshot above, it would have to be 5). When the shield drops, walk right and enter the laboratory.

The Laboratory

Wait for the tesla pack to finish charging and then press action to retrieve it from the holder. Walk left, jump up and take the lift down one floor. The vanishing platforms above the slime alternate so make sure you jump in time with the blocks. When you get to the other side take the first lift down one floor. The tortoises are just like regular enemies until they electrify themselves. When they are doing this, do not hit them with your sword as you will receive damage instead, arrows will still hurt them though. Walk right and down the slope. Take the lift down to the bottom, walk right and take the platform across to the other side. Push the crate underneath the grabber and flick the switch to make the grabber pick it up. Return to the other side of the slime and flick the switch to drop the crate. Push the crate onto the lift, jump over it and call down the other lift. Ride this one back up one floor, walk down the slope and flick the switch to bring the other lift and crate back up. Push the crate right up the slope and onto the pressure plate.

Headbutt the die until you receive the message saying "4 more to go..." Don't headbutt it too fast or you'll go past the required number. If you think you went past it, headbutt it again until you receive the message again. Now go back down the slope and down the lift. Walk left down the steps and take the lift down. Grab the spring and drag it back to the lift. Jump on the spring to get back up and then use the switch to bring the lift and spring up. Drag the spring until it's roughly under the vanishing platforms and then hop on the spring. Jump up the vanishing platforms until you reach an opening on the right. Go through and headbutt the die to match the number set on the previous one. Now go back and continue up the vanishing platforms. Walk left down the slope and jump on the bubble machine three times to create a bubble. Hop on the bubble and ride it up, jumping off to the right hand side and walk to the slime pit. Wait until the vanishing platforms appear and hop across them all, if they are already there wait until they vanish or they might disappear while you're jumping across. Flick the switch and wait for the platforms to vanish and reappear before jumping back. Walk left, drop down and use the bubble machine again to get back up left and through the now open door. Walk left and jump over the gap, continuing over the slime pits until you reach the springs.

Jump on the springs to get up to the crate on the left and push it off the ledge. Push it onto the springs and then jump onto the box as it comes down to right it up the right hand side. Now turn around and grab the crate as it comes up. Drag the crate onto the pressure plate to open the door on the left. Headbutt the die to the correct value and then return back right to where the falling platforms are. Drop down, hanging right to quickly enter the passageway if it's clear of enemies. If not then drop to the bottom and climb back up to it. Collect the key at the end of the passage and then drop down to the bottom. Take the lift up, walk left, flick the switch and then return to the lift and take it all the way down. Go left up the steps and jump across all the vanishing blocks and then up to the top. Pick up the potion of invisibility and then go right. Flick the switch to open the door and then drop down and return back up the falling platforms. Go right, drop down to where the bubble machine is, walk up the slope, drop down, hop up the steps and take the lift up two floors. Go right and jump across the vanishing platforms and take the lift up two floors.

Walk left and drop down. Flick the switch and walk between the flames. Jump up the steps and the take the lift down one floor.

Jump on the blocks in the order shown in the screenshot to open the door. Collect the key and then take the lift up two floors. Drop down the steps and jump on the bubble machine twice. Wait until the lift is coming back down and then jump on it one last time to release the bubble. Hop on the lift and ride it up. Walk right and hop on the bubble when it goes past the lasers. Flick the switch and then drop back down, pushing left to make sure you don't fall through the laser. Go right past the bubble machine and up the steps. Headbutt the die to the correct value and then return back left and take the lift down one floor. Go left, take the lift up, continue left and take the lift up one floor. Go through the door and when the cutscene finishes, press action next to the potion dispenser to fill up the bottle again. Return back to where the fire burners were and take the lift down two floors. Jump across the vanishing platforms, walk all the way to the left and take the lift up. Stand by the water's edge and use the slime potion.

Jump into the water and follow the path around to the block. Headbutt the die to complete the sequence and then return back out. If the block doesn't vanish then you've misaligned one of them, so recheck that they're all set correctly. Return back up to where the fire burners are, walk left up the steps and continue left to the end and take the lift up. Walk left, take the lift up and refill the potion using the dispenser. Take the lift down two floors and stand on the water's edge. Use the slime potion and follow the path around avoiding the lasers until you get to a T-Junction. Swim up and refill your potion bottle. Jump back into the water and swim all the way down and follow the path around. Jump out, refill your bottle and walk all the way left and take the lift up.

Jump on the bubble machine twice. On the third jump, quickly jump off and flick the switch and then ride the bubble all the way up, jumping off to the right. Watch the timings of the lasers and then jump on the spring to collect the ice spray. Drop down and then jump left to make sure you don't go through the lasers. Walk to the water's edge, use the slime potion and jump into the water. Go down past the first intersection, go left at the next intersection and left again at the next one. Go up, flick the switch, refill your potion and then return back to the start (down, right, right, up, up). Walk right, flick the switch and drop down. Take the lift down two floors, jump over the alternating platforms and take the lift down. Walk right, drop down, refill your potion bottle, use it and hop into the water. Follow the path around, jump out and refill your potion bottle. Drag the spring underneath the gap on the right and hop on it to collect the key. Drop back down and move the spring back left. Jump on the spring and bounce on all the other springs until you get to the top.

Walk right and stand on the lift. Push down to make the lift go down and then quickly jump off it. Go left and jump across the vanishing platforms. Walk to the water's edge, use the slime potion and jump into the water. Follow the path around, jump out and refill your potion. Move the lift down in the same manner as before and then push the weight down the gap. Drop down the gap and push the weight to the right and onto the conveyor belt. Go back up the lift, go back to the potion dispenser, use your slime potion, quickly refill your potion and then swim back right. Jump over the vanishing platforms. Flick the switch to call the lift back up along with the weight and push it underneath the grabber. Flick the other switch to make the grabber pick up the weight. Now return back left over the platforms and through the water.

Flick the switch to drop the weight onto the high striker and go left through the door. Hit the control panel with your pickaxe to retrieve the purple gem and then continue left and open the door. When the cutscene finishes, go through the teleporter again. Flick the switch to open the door, save your game and then walk right to fight the boss.

The Blob

The boss will first start out by bouncing around the screen. Simply dodge it and hit it until it turns red. When it eats you, keep hitting it until it breaks into several pieces. When it begins to reform, walk over to it and press action to attach the tesla charge. When it gets electrocuted it will drop the pack, collect the pack and put it back in the charger. The boss will then gain and additional attack where it will sink into the ground and try and punch you through the floor. When the pack has recharged, collect it and continue to attack the boss. Repeat the eating and electrocuting process. Collect the pack and put it in the charger again. The boss now has an additional attack where it morphs into a red grub and charges you, jump over the attacks until it finishes and turns back into a blob. Collect the pack when it has recharged and repeat the attacking and electrocuting procedure. The pack will now explode and the boss will turn permanently red and will take regular damage from your sword. It now has two different attacks, for the first attack it breaks into pieces and tries to grab onto you. Attack all the pieces and shake off any that grab onto you. Its second attack involves it sinking into the ground and pushes continuously left or right until it reaches the screen edge. When you defeat the boss, collect the heart container for an additional hit point and then leave the lab.

The Basement

Walk left and go up the lift. Align the platforms to form a series of steps allowing you to reach the conveyor belts. Hop along the conveyor belts until you get to the lift. Take the lift up, walk left and drop down the steps, avoiding the ceiling snappers. Take the lift down, defeat the two sludges, collect the key and return back up the lift. Jump back up the steps, avoiding the snappers again, you can tell where they are by the slime that they drop. Walk right and take the lift up. Equip your axe and chop down the door on the left. Walk left, avoiding the two snappers, jump up the steps and take the lift up.

Walk right and hop along the conveyor belts. Go left and drop down to collect the key and then return back up the conveyor belts, jumping over the gap this time instead. Walk left and take the lift up. Walk down the steps and defeat the Gazer. These creatures flash the screen when they see you so make sure you're not facing them when they do this, otherwise you will become stunned for a moment. Before you progress make sure you have at least one arrow in your inventory, if you don't then retrace your steps and defeat some more enemies until you get one. Flick the switch and quickly hop across the falling platforms and go through the door. Take the lift up and flick the switch to get through the door. Take the small lift up and defeat the 3 bats in the room.

Turn around and fire an arrow into the target, now quickly run across the conveyor belts and through the door at the other end. Use your axe on the door to the right and continue walking towards the lift. Take the lift up to trigger a cutscene. Now return down the lift and walk back left. Hop up the platforms whilst dodging the spiders and go left. Drop down into the room and defeat the gazer and sludges. Now jump up the platforms and across the conveyor belts, dodging the spiders. Flick and switch and drop down and continue going left. Use the switch to bring the lift down and take it up and collect a bomb. Go back down the lift and continue left along the conveyor belts. Drop down and use the switch activate the platforms. Align the platforms so that you can hop across them and then collect the green gem. Return back up the conveyor belt and continue going back right. Jump up to get back to the pressure plate and use it to lower the lift. Jump across and walk up to the wall, drop the bomb by the wall and stand back.

Walk right and jump up the steps. Kill the gazer and then use the switch to change the direction of the conveyor belt. When the box falls onto the second one flick the switch again to stop it from falling into the other slime pit. This will bring down a lift to the left of the slime pits. Equip your bow and get on the lift. At the top of the lift jump across the falling platforms and then shoot the arrow target. Collect the blue gem that falls down. Before returning back down to the generators, go back left and pick up another bomb. Now go back to the generators and press action to interact with the two ones on the left to remove both your gems. Go back down the lift and walk right, go down the lift and walk right. Go down the conveyor belts and continue going left and down the lift. Walk right, avoiding the ceiling snappers and take the lift down two floors.

Use the switch to disable the laser in front of you. You have about 30 seconds to get all the way to the bottom, collect the red gem and get back up to the top. Once you have managed to do this, take the lift back up one floor, walk right and take the lift down one floor. Use the bomb on the wall to your left to free the box and push it onto the conveyor belt. Once it is at the bottom, push it left and use it to get the key. Return back up the conveyor belt and lift, walk left, take the lift up one floor and open the door to your right. Defeat the gazer and then hop up the steps to the exit. Before continuing, make sure that you have at least 1 gazer eyeball. If you don't then wander around a bit more killing gazers until you get one. Go through the exit to get to the fortress itself.

The Fortress Outskirts

Walk right to trigger the cutscene. Once it has finished, walk off the ledge and use the pickaxe to break down the weak wall to your left.

Drop down, kill the scorpion and then walk right and use the pickaxe to break though the wall to get to the sewers.

The Sewer

Jump up and push the crate off the ledge. Stand to the right of it and pull it onto the pressure plate to open the door. Take the lift up, walk right and take the next lift down. Walk right, dodging the slime drips and jump up onto the ledge. If a snail is not facing you then you can kill it using your pickaxe, your sword will not damage its shell. Sometimes the snail will die and leave its shell behind, so either destroy it or block and wait for it to explode. Jump across the falling platforms, take the lift up and drag the crate onto the pressure plate. Return back along the falling platforms, but wait until the eye stalk is sinking back into the slime to give you the most time. Walk back to the lift and take it up two floors. Walk right and ride the platform across to the key. Go back left, kill the scorpion and collect the other key. Return to the lift and go up to the next floor. Go left and flick the switch to bring the lift down. Get on it and go up one floor.

Jump across the platforms onto the lift, take it up and go right. Go up the lift and continue going right. Kill the snail and flick the switch. Wait until the lift appears on the screen and then jump on the falling platforms to get on it, making sure you avoid the slime drip in the process. When you get to the top, walk left and get on the moving platform. Wait until it's safe to get on the vertically moving lift and hop onto it. Once you get to the top, walk left and stand next to the switch. Wait until the moving platform is below the trapdoor. Flick the switch and the key will land on the platform which you can then collect.

Go back down all the lifts until you get back to the 3 lifts moving vertically (see the previous screenshot). Go right and take the lift down one floor. Walk right and flick the switch to activate the moving platforms. Continue going right and take the lift down. Go right and jump onto the vertically moving platform. At the top go left and jump up all the falling platforms to retrieve the key. Fall back down and return left to the main lift shaft. Take the lift up one floor and walk right through the door. Dodge the slime drips and jump across all the moving platforms, keeping an eye out for the eye stalks. If one surfaces near you then kill it and carry on. Flick the switch and then return to the main lift shaft. Take the lift down one floor, go right across the slime pool, down the lift and finally drop through the now open trap door. Pick up the key and bow and then use the action point. Now you have to face a sub boss.

Maggot

This boss is quite straightforward. Just dodge the bouncing shots and hit it until it dies. When it leaves it will drop some arrows. Equip the bow and shoot the arrow target in the wall on the left to activate the lift. From now on any enemies you encounter will drop arrows when they die. Don't waste them though since you need them to activate the arrow targets. Take the lift up and return to the three vertically moving platforms. Jump across the platforms and take the lift to where you had to drop the key onto the moving platform. From there, go right and down the lift. Fire an arrow into the target to open the door. Go right and take the lift up one floor. Continue right, kill the scorpion and flick the switch. Go back to the lift and take it down to the bottom.

Stand on the pressure plate and wait for the platform to go under the trap door. Get off the pressure plate, flick the switch immediately left of it to drop the crate on the platform and stand back on the pressure plate. When the platform comes back, push the crate onto the pressure plate and ride the platforms across to the other side. Save your game and then take the lift up. You will now fight a sub boss.

Maggot

The maggot is more or less the same as before except the shots it fire bounce around the room. They can be blocked and killed however, but don't spend too much time trying to deal with the shots, just kill the maggot. When it dies it will flee to the right, leaving a whole in the wall. If you don't have much health left then go back down and save (in a different slot) before continuing. Go through the whole the maggot left and stand on the horizontal platform. Jump onto the vertical platform when it comes into range and then go right and up the lift. Walk left and align the platforms so that you can jump up them to get to the key and the return back down the lift. Walk left and drop down onto the vertical platform and then go right. You will now come across a wall of slime drips and an arrow target in the wall. Jump up and fire an arrow at the target to stop the drips.

Continue right and take the lift down one floor. Go left, jumping over the gaps, collect the key, return to the lift and go down another floor. Go left, down the lift, walk right and save your game. Jump across all of the platforms, keeping an eye out for the eye stalks. The best tactic is to stand on one of vertically moving ones and kill the eye stalks when they rise up close to you. When you get to the other side, use the switch to release the box and push it over to reach the key. Return back across the platforms, take the lift back up and go all the way to the right. Take the next four lifts up to the top and then jump across the falling platforms to the switch. Flick the switch and hop on the lift when it comes down.

At the top, walk right and jump on the platform. Shoot the arrow target and get on the horizontal moving platform. Go all the way to the right, shot the arrow target and then take the moving platform back left. Jump on the vertical moving platform and then jump on the upper horizontal moving platform. Shoot the arrow target and then drop down and walk through the now open door. Walk to the end and enter the basement.

The Village

From the start, walk right down the slope and over the bridge. Speak to Jacob and pick up the chicken feed bag. Walk left back past where you started and go down the lift. Speak to Borgan and collect the key and pickaxe. Open your inventory and select the chicken feed bag. There are two chickens down here so use the chicken feed bag to throw a piece of feed near to a chicken. The chicken will walk over to it and start eating. Throw another piece of feed a short distance away from where the chicken is standing to lure it onto the lift.

Throw a piece on the lift and when the chicken is standing on the lift, move the lift up. Wait for the chicken to move off the lift and then move it back down and lure the second one onto the lift (you can do both of them at the same time if you want). Now lure the chickens back to where Jacob is. Along the way you should encounter the third chicken so keep throwing down feed.

Just past Jacob is a trap. Throw some feed in there and a chicken will get captured. Keep throwing feed into the trap until all the chickens have been caught. Now walk right, jumping over the chicken pen and take the lift up. Walk right down the slope and take the lift down. Walk right up the slope and enter the mine.

The Mine

Walk right and go down the lift. Walk into the door to open it and take the lift down. Walk all the way to the right, dodging the rocks that are falling down. Jump up on the platforms, flick the switch and collect the key when the lift comes down. Return left, killing any bats along the way and take the lift up two floors. Walk right, avoiding the rocks and take the lift down. Open the door and carry on moving right. Drop down into the room and grab the box by pushing against it whilst holding down action. Drag the box over to the right and use it to jump up onto the ledge.

Walk right and up the lift between the falling rocks to go up to the next floor. Use the pickaxe on the wall to break it down. Kill the bats, collect the key and go back down the lift. Walk right and take the lift down one floor and proceed left. Flick the switch to make the lift go down, return to the lift and take it down another floor. Walk left and wait for the lift to come down. Ride the lift up, grab the key, go back down and walk right to the other lift. Take it back up one floor and go right through the door. Jump up on the platforms and flick the switch to open the door. Collect the coal bag and return to the lift. Take the lift down one floor and walk right to the pile of coal. Hit the coal with your pickaxe and collect all the coal pieces that drop off. When you have collected 10 you'll have no choice but to go down the lift to the right of the coal pile.

Walk left and quickly break down the wall and then go left, jumping over all the gaps. Don't worry about the fireballs, they don't jump high enough to hurt you. Don't try and break down any of the weak walls either, just jump over them. When you get to the lift, take it up and use the switch to open the door. Walk right past the first lift and take the second lift up two floors. Walk left and drop down into the room with the box, killing any bats in your way and take the two lifts back up. Continue to walk left, dodging the rocks and take the lift down one floor. Walk left and take one more lift up and walk left to leave the mine.

The Village

If you are low on health, you can get Maggie to heal you before you carry on. If you need to get healed, walk left down the slope and past the lift, walk down another slope, over the bridge and talk to Maggie.

Now walk back right and take the lift back up. Walk left, take the lift down, jump over the chicken pen and carry on walking left until you get to the lift. Take the lift down, walk left and speak to Borgan. Borgan will take coal bag and give you a shield. Take the lift back up and walk left to the other lift. Take this up and walk left to the forest.

The Forest

Walk left and jump up onto the platform. Continue to walk left and use the branches to jump over the gap. Jump over the small tree since you cannot cut it down yet and continue going left. Jump up the branches, walk left and drop down the gap. Walk right, drop down and dodge the spiders. Pick up the axe, equip it and jump back up.

Walk left and drop down. Chop down both the trees in this room and then jump all the way back up to the top. Walk left and jump up the tree. Chop down the tree in front of you and then continue left. Jump over the gaps and hop on the log when it stops at the edge. On the other side chop down the tree and then walk back right and drop down all the tree branches until you get to the bottom. Go left down the slope and chop down the tree. Walk left and drop all the way down. Walk left, jump over the gap and climb up the branches to get to the tree. Chop it down and then go all the way back right until you get back to the tree that you weren't able to chop down at the start of the forest. Chop down the tree and then drop down the gap to the right of it. Walk left and jump on the log when it appears. Jump off at the other side, kill the wasp, drop down the hole and chop down the tree on your right.

You should now have 8 logs in your inventory. Jump back up, go right, jump on the log and go right to leave the forest.

The Village

Walk right until you reach Jacob. Speak to him and he will take two of the logs and the chicken feed bag. In return he'll give you a sword. Take the sword and continue walking right, take all the lifts that go up and keep walking until you reach an action point and a stretch of water. Interact with the action point to create the raft and hop on it. When the raft reaches the other side just off and continue right to the Forbidden Swamp.

The Forbidden Swamp

Walk right to trigger a cutscene.

The Cave

Walk right and drop down. Jump up on the platforms and use the pickaxe to knock down the stalactite, jump over and continue going right. Jump on the two falling platforms and jump up to the log. Push the log off the edge on the right and then walk left and drop back down. Drop down and walk down the slope. Jump on the log as it floats across and use it to get to the other side. Dodge the spiders and drop down and walk left. Jump over the gaps and use the pickaxe on the wall to get through to the other side. Jump across all the falling platforms and collect the bomb. Return back to where the spiders are.

Go right and climb up, avoiding the spider. Go left and climb up, avoiding the rocks. Go right and jump up onto the platform, walk all the way to the end and use the pickaxe to knock down the stalactite. Drop down after the stalactite and use the bomb on the rock wall in front of you, but stand back because the explosion will kill you. Walk right and jump all the way up and over the other side. Wait for all the spiders to move and then jump across the falling platforms to the other side.

Jump across the falling platforms and follow the passage around and then jump up the third tunnel, avoiding the spider. Continue to the top and then walk right and use the pickaxe to break through the walls. Exit the Cave.

The Forbidden Swamp

Walk right and jump over the snappers and the 4 gaps. Drop down the next gap and jump across the falling platforms. Chop down the tree and then use the pickaxe to retrieve the rock and use that to get back across the falling platforms. Climb back up and walk right. Jump onto one of the snappers when its mouth is closed and wait until it opens again. Jump across the other two, chop down the tree and return via the same method.

Climb up to where to bee hive is and carry on going right. Walk down the slope and jump over the gaps, dodging the spiders. Climb up the tree, go left and use the pickaxe to knock down the wall. Wait until all the spiders have moved and then walk underneath them. Chop down the tree then walk all the way to the right and chop down the other. Climb back down the branches and walk right. Jump on the snapper and off again. When it closes, jump on it and onto the ledge. Walk right and drop down the third gap that you get to. Continue all the way to the bottom and head left down the slope. Walk to the end and jump up to the log. Pull the log out from underneath the ledge, jump over the other side and push it into the water. Ride it across to the tree and chop it down. Wait until the log is floating right again and jump to it to get to the other side. Climb up, walk right and drop down again. Walk right, climb up and drop down and continue right until you get to the action point.

Use the action point and then walk all the way to the left. Smash through the weak wall to let the grub out. Let the grub move all the way to the right and it will be eaten by the ant lion. Now walk to the right and chop down the tree. Return left and jump all the way back to the top. Go right and use the action point to create another raft. Sail across to the other side and drop down. Jump across all the tree branches and destroy all the beehives to stop the bees from pestering you along the way. Continue along until you reach some more snappers. The middle snapper opens and closes by itself so time your jump to make sure you don't get eaten as you try to get across. Continue going right, jumping over the gaps until you reach the save point. Be sure to save. Now walk right to meet the boss.

Forbidden Swamp Guardian

The boss has three attacks, a bite which it uses up to three times, a crushing attack which goes across the screen and it spits red and blue balls at you. The bite attack can be blocked, as can the balls. The crush attack cannot be blocked but is very easy to avoid, just walk away from the boss, you'll easily outrun it. The boss can also change sides so if it goes back into the ground make sure you're not standing by the edges. You can get in some hits here and there when fighting it but the most damage comes from blocking the balls. Sometimes a blue ball will be fired out which will fall to the ground when it is blocked. Hit it with your sword and it will fly back at the boss and stun it, giving you an opportunity to do it some massive damage.

When it dies it will drop a large heart which will restore all of your health and give you an extra hit point. Continue to the right to get to the fortress.
